President Prabowo Chairs Limited Meeting on Workers’ Concerns, Universities’ Role in Regional Development

President Prabowo, on Tuesday (05/02), holds a limited meeting with several members of the Red and White Cabinet, at his residence in Hambalang, Bogor regency, West Java province.

President Prabowo Subianto, on Saturday (05/02), held a limited meeting with several members of the Red and White Cabinet at his residence in Hambalang, Bogor regency, West Java province.

“This meeting thoroughly discussed developments on various national strategic issues to determine the direction of the government policy,” Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said in his written statement.

During the meeting, the Government also addressed the aspirations expressed by labor unions from various regions across Indonesia. The meeting also covered education, particularly regarding optimizing the role of universities in regional development.

“Regarding education, this includes leveraging the role of universities in the country to directly participate in the development of their regions, particularly through the utilization of engineering faculties within those universities,” the Cabinet Secretary added.

This measure is expected to bolster the synergy between education and national development needs. The Cabinet Secretary also wrote that the Government continues to emphasize its commitment to implementing policies that prioritize the best interests of the people.
