President Prabowo Subianto Thursday (10/01) inaugurated the renovated Pancasila Sanctity Museum (Museum Kesaktian Pancasila) after leading the 2026 Pancasila Sanctity Day ceremony.

The Pancasila Sanctity Museum, formerly known as the Museum of the PKI (Communist) Betrayal, was first inaugurated by President Soeharto on October 1, 1992, and, following renovations more than three decades later, was re-inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on October 1, 2026.

On that occasion, President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming toured the renovated museum, accompanied by Minister of Culture Fadli Zon.

The President toured a number of dioramas depicting historical events, some equipped with video displays,  and entered an immersive room to watch a presentation offering a more vivid visual experience.

After the tour, the Head of State proceeded to the inauguration venue, delivered remarks to officially inaugurate the renovation, and signed the commemorative plaque.

“By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, today, on Thursday, October 1 2026, by the grace of God Almighty, I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, hereby inaugurate the renovation of the Pancasila Sanctity Museum,” he said. (BPMI of the Presidential Secretariat) (RAS/MEP)
