President Prabowo Subianto Friday (04/10) inaugurated Constitutional Justice Liliek Prisbawono Adi at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta.
On that occasion, the newly inaugurated justice reaffirmed that integrity would remain his foremost guiding principle in carrying out him duties.
“This is, of course, a personal commitment for me to continually strengthen both my integrity and capacity as a constitutional justice,” Liliek said in a press statement after taking the oath of office before the President.
For the record, Liliek was sworn in to replace Anwar Usman, whose term has ended. He also described the mandate as both a great honor and a profound responsibility.
In carrying out his duties, Liliek emphasized his commitment to safeguarding the Constitution by upholding the principles of statesmanship.
According to him, these values must serve as essential guidelines for constitutional justices in exercising their authority and responsibilities.
“Upholding the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia is paramount. Statesmanship must remain our guiding principle as constitutional justices,” he said.
On the same occasion, Liliek also asked for the public’s support and prayers so that he can carry out the mandate effectively and responsibly.
“Once again, I would like to express my gratitude. I kindly ask for your prayers as I carry out my duties and responsibilities in upholding the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia,” he remarked. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RIF/EP)
