President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Singapore on Sunday evening (06/15) for a state visit.

This visit underscores the ongoing strengthening of relations between Indonesia and Singapore.

Upon landing at Paya Lebar Air Base at around 21:00 local time, President Prabowo and his limited delegation were personally received by Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, reflecting the warm and respectful reception extended by the Singaporean government.

Also present to welcome the President were Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan, Singaporean Ambassador to Indonesia Kwok Fook Seng, Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore Suryo Pratomo, and Indonesian Defense Attaché Colonel Hendra Supriyadi.

The welcoming ceremony proceeded solemnly and respectfully. PM Lawrence Wong then accompanied the President to the official vehicle. From the airbase, the President went directly to the hotel where he would stay during the visit.
