President Prabowo Subianto Inaugurates Red and White Cabinet Ministers at the State Palace, Jakarta

President Prabowo Subianto accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka inaugurated the Red and White Cabinet Ministers for the 2024-2029 term.  The President inaugurated 48 ministers and 5 ministerial-level officials at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday (21/10/2024) morning.

The inauguration of the Red and White Cabinet was carried out based on Presidential Decree Number 133/P of 2024 on the Establishment of State Ministries and Appointment of State Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024-2029 Period, which was stipulated on October 20, 2024.

The names of the inaugurated members of the Red and White Cabinet are:

  1. Budi Gunawan, Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs;
  2. Yusril Ihza Mahendra, Coordinating Minister for Legal, Human Rights, Immigration and Corrections Affairs;
  3. Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs;
  4. Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture;
  5. Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development;
  6. Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment;

Furthermore, the President also inaugurated ministerial-level officials, namely:

  1. Sanitiar Burhanuddin as Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, inaugurated based on Presidential Decree Number 135/P of 2024 dated October 20, 2024;
  2. Muhammad Herindra as Head of the National Intelligence Agency, inaugurated based on Presidential Decree Number 136/P of 2024 dated October 20, 2024;
  3. M Putranto as Presidential Chief of Staff and Muhammad Qodari as Deputy Presidential Chief of Staff, inaugurated based on Presidential Decree Number 137/P of 2024 dated October 20, 2024;
  4. Hasan Nasbi as Head of the Presidential Communications Office, inaugurated based on Presidential Decree Number 141/P of 2024 dated October 20, 2024; and
  5. Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan as Chairman of the National Economic Council, inaugurated based on Presidential Decree Number 139/P of 2024 dated October 20, 2024.

The inauguration ceremony began with the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya, followed by the reading of the Presidential Decree, the taking of the oath of office, and continued with the signing of the inauguration ceremony minutes. (FID/ABD) (APN/LW)
