Gov’t Prepares Geostrategic Measures to Maintain National Defense and Security amid Global Challenges

President Prabowo Subianto received Presidential Advisor for National Defense Retired General Dudung Abdurachman at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday (04/21). The meeting focused on developments in the national defense and security situation amidst evolving global geopolitical landscape.
In a written statement, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya noted that the Head of State was given an update on the latest conditions in the defense and security sector, including ongoing geopolitical dynamics.
“During the meeting, the President received reports regarding geopolitical dynamics, as well as developments in the fields of defense and security,” the Cabinet Secretary stated.
In addition to report updates, the President provided strategic directives on future measures to safeguard, strengthen, and enhance the national defense system to ensure the nation’s security.
“[The President] also provided strategic guidance for future geostrategic challenges,” he added.
