Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia at the Groundbreaking Ceremony of PT Arena Graha Andalan’s Project, Nusantara Capital, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, June 5, 2024

Good afternoon,
May prosperity be upon us.

Distinguished Cabinet Ministers, Commander of the Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI), Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Authority of the Nusantara Capital, Governor of East Kalimantan province,

Distinguished CEO of PT Arena Graha Andalan Mr Wiyanto Alamsyah and all Directors and Managers,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Activities in the new capital of Nusantara are increasing rapidly. We need accommodation facilities, transportation facilities, and other facilities.

And until now, when we bring a group of 200 people or 300 people, we find difficulties in finding places to eat.

I’d like to extend my appreciation for the investment of Arena Botanika from Arena Group. I hope that this project, Arena Botanika, will encourage Ministers to immediately move here and our civil servants can immediately move here.

Currently we are having difficulty finding places for lunch and dinner. Last night, we had dinner with meal cooked by a chef we brought from Jakarta. This morning, we did not have any breakfast and we do not know yet where to have our lunch.

Let me extend my appreciation to PT Arena Graha for integrating five well-known restaurant brands in one area. I also saw that the restaurant design is excellent.

I hope that the restaurants Seribu Rasa, Penang Bistro, Greyhound Cafe, Maison Tatsuya, and Yakiniku can be opened soon.

Mr CEO, when will this project be completed? The first semester next year? I think the process should be accelerated, Sir.

With the construction of Arena Botanica, facilities in Nusantara will be more complete so that the people who live and work in the capital can enjoy delicious culinary delight at comfortable places.

By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this afternoon I hereby declare the ground-breaking of PT Arena Graha Andalan/rena Botanika project in Nusantara.
