President Prabowo Subianto: Leadership is a Sacred Mandate to Uphold Truth and All Indonesians

President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that leadership is a solemn mandate that must be exercised to uphold truth, defend justice, and protect all Indonesian citizens.
The President delivered the statement in his remarks at the National Commemoration of Nuzulul Qur’an 1447 H/2026 at the State Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday (03/10).
According to the President, the commemoration of Nuzulul Qur’an also serves as a personal reminder for him as the Head of State to carry out leadership duties with responsibility and sincerity.
“I have come to realize more deeply that leadership is a matter of destiny, and that power comes from the Almighty. That power is entrusted to us as a mandate to uphold truth, justice, and integrity, and to protect and bring prosperity and fairness to all people,” the President said.
The President also stressed that the Government’s foremost duty is to protect all Indonesians, regardless of ethnic, religious, or racial backgrounds.
He added that preserving peace requires not only prayers, but also concrete efforts to achieve prosperity and justice for all citizens.
“All Indonesians, regardless of ethnicity, race, or religion, must be protected, cared for, and empowered. Therefore, I must work tirelessly to preserve peace,” the President said.
On that occasion, the President also reaffirmed the Indonesian Government’s commitment to promoting peace and fostering friendly relations with all nations the world.

“The Indonesian nation, under my leadership and with all members of the Government, is committed to maintaining friendship and good relations with all nations, all countries, and global powers. We have no intention of interfering in the internal affairs of any nation. We respect all powers in the world, both great and small,” he added.
In closing, the President urged all elements of the nation to strengthen unity and work together for Indonesia’s progress.
