President El-Sisi Bids Farewell to President Prabowo as He Departs for Doha

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt bid farewell to President Prabowo Subianto on Saturday (04/12) before his departure to the Qatari capital of Doha.
Following their visit to the Egyptian Military Academy in Cairo, President El-Sisi and President Prabowo rode in the same vehicle to Cairo International Airport.
Upon arrival, the two heads of state walked together to greet Indonesian and Egyptian officials and the guard of honor. Before ascending the airstair, President Prabowo and President El-Sisi shook hands, reflecting the strong diplomatic and amicable relations between Indonesia and Egypt.
Egyptian officials present at the farewell ceremony were Minister of Public Business Sector Mohamed Ibrahim Ahmad Shimi and Egyptian Ambassador to Indonesia Yasser Hassan Farag Elshemy, while the Indonesian officials in attendance were Indonesian Ambassador to Egypt Lutfi Rauf and Defense Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo Colonel Dafris D. Syahruddin.
President Prabowo and his entourage took off from the airport at around 17.15 local time. Accompanying the President on his flight to Doha were Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (DH/LW)
