A comprehensive analysis regarding budget-saving policy on bonus provision for State-Owned Enterprise executives has been submitted to the President, according to Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Perkasa Roeslani.
“The conservative estimation is that we can save around Rp 8 trillion per year,” Rosan said after delivering a report to President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Wednesday (8/6).
Rosan also stated that his office had taken cost-saving measures through a circular on the provision of bonuses for State-Owned Enterprise Commissioners and Directors.
In addition to the cost-saving measures, Rosan also explained updates on licensing deregulation measures undertaken by Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming. He stated that a new regulation aimed at accelerating the licensing process has been issued.
“Thank God, the Government Regulation has been issued,” Rosan said, adding that the regulation aims to provide time certainty and boost bureaucratic efficiency.
According to Rosan, the President also instructed Ministries and Agencies to join the integrated licensing system.
“All Ministries which are not yet fully integrated with the system must immediately join the system, because the Government Regulation has been issued,” Rosan remarked.
