President Prabowo Subianto held a bilateral meeting with President of France, Emmanuel Macron, Wednesday (11/20), on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This meeting served as a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and France across various sectors.

During the discussions, the two leaders addressed a range of strategic issues that are priorities for both nations. President Prabowo expressed his appreciation for the cooperation between Indonesia and France, which he noted has seen considerable progress.

“We have a lot of cooperation with France, and there have been many advancements,” President Prabowo remarked in a press statement following the meeting, before departing for the United Kingdom as part of his series of official visits.

The bilateral meeting between Indonesia and France took place in a warm and fruitful atmosphere, reflecting the growing closeness of ties between the two countries.
