President Prabowo Attends D-8 Summit in Egypt

President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday (12/19) arrived at the New Administrative Capital Presidential Palace, Cairo, Egypt, to attend the 11th Developing Eight (D-8) Summit.

The President entered the library room to sign the guest book, and was greeted by President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, at the Presidential Hall.

On the Summit, President Prabowo will deliver statements on two sessions: A plenary session with the theme of “Investing in Youth and Supporting SME’s: Shaping Tomorrow’s Economy,” and  a special session for discussing the situation in Palestine and Lebanon.

The President is also slated to conduct bilateral meetings with several leaders who attended the D-8 Summit, in order to strengthen Indonesia’s diplomatic relation with friendly countries. (BPMI Setpres/ABD) (AF/RI)
