Junior High Students Share Dreams to President Prabowo

President Prabowo Subianto was welcomed with great excitement and enthusiasm from students of State Junior High School SMPN 111 Jakarta, during his visit to inspect implementation of Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program on Tuesday (06/02).

A number of students shared their unforgettable experiences on their meeting with the President. One of the students, Diana Putri, who is also the Chair of the Student Executive Organization (OSIS) at the school said that President Prabowo asked about her dream, which was responded with great spirit, representing the determination of Indonesian youth to contribute to the country in their own ways.

The President also encouraged students to stay motivated in their studies and to keep striving with their best efforts to achieve their dreams.

Other students, Nabila Andita and Nindira Safira said that meeting with President Prabowo in person left a sense of pride and deep emotion on them.

“I am extremely happy, I was kind of shaking because this was the first time I had ever seen him in person,” Nabila said enthusiastically.

Moreover, the students also expressed their appreciation for the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Program, which they benefit from every day at school.

“It’s a good program, and the food tastes great too. We all like it. It’s great. I really admire Pak Prabowo,” she added.

For the students, MBG program is more than providing nutritious meals but also serves as as a reflection of the Government’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of Indonesia’s young generation.

“Thank you [Mr. President] for the MBG program. It means so much to us. Thank you as well for visiting our school. We, the students of SMPN 111 Jakarta, are very happy to have had the chance to meet you,” she said. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RAS/LW)
