Cabinet Secretary: Hard Work, Dedication, Sincerity Deserve Appreciation

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung awarded Satyalancana Wira Karya and Satyalancana Karya Satya medals to the state civil apparatus (ASN) of the Cabinet Secretariat at the Office of Ministry of State Secretariat in Jakarta on Thursday (08/22).

The Cabinet Secretary expressed appreciation to all ASNs at the Cabinet Secretariat who have worked hard to make the best contribution to the state and nation, especially in supporting the President and Vice President in managing the cabinet in carrying out the administration.

“First of all, I am happy and proud of awards or badges of honor given by the Government, by the state, to all of you. That is because innovation, hard work, and dedication are important for ASN. They show loyalty in working for a long period,” he said after handing the awards.

Pramono also expressed his appreciation for the dedication of two ASNs who have worked for over 40 years.

“Alhamdulillah, to be honest, I am moved and also happy. When I saw Ms. Yuli and Mr. Daud, [who have worked for] 42 years. Perhaps some people in this room are not even 42 years old. Their sacrifice must be extraordinary,” he said while underscoring that hard work, dedication, and sincerity are the main factors that make one deserve to be appreciated.

Pramono also pointed out the importance of working happily, seriously, and sincerely while upholding integrity.

“Hard work, loyalty, seriousness at work, as Mr. Daud and Ms. Yuli said, are those that made you receive awards from the Government,” he said while stressing the importance of trust, openness, and cooperation in performing state duties. (FID/ABD) (DH/MUR)
