President Prabowo Subianto departed for Central Java Province on Thursday (7/30) for a working visit. Accompanied by a limited entourage, the President took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta at approximately 9:30 a.m. Western Indonesia Time (WIB), heading to Semarang.

Upon arriving at Ahmad Yani Air Force Base in Semarang city, President Prabowo proceeded directly to Semarang Tawang Railway Station, where he was scheduled to inaugurate the restoration of the historic station, one of Indonesia’s nationally protected cultural heritage sites.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the restoration marks a significant milestone in preserving the nation’s cultural heritage. According to him, the historic station, which has stood since 1914, has undergone its first official restoration following President Prabowo’s directive to the President Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) in 2025.

Following the inauguration, President Prabowo was scheduled to travel to Batang regency aboard the Nusantara Explorer train to experience its services firsthand. The train was introduced as part of the Government’s efforts to enhance the quality of passenger rail transportation in Indonesia.

“This train reflects the President’s vision for KAI to provide passenger rail services that are elegant, comfortable, and enjoyable for the public,” the Cabinet Secretary said.

In Batang regency, President Prabowo was set to attend and inaugurate the nationwide simultaneous signing ceremony for 62,000 subsidized home mortgage (KPR) units, conducted across 165 locations in 372 regencies and cities throughout 36 provinces. The main event was centered at the Puri Delta City Side residential area in Batang regency, Central Java province.

“After that, President Prabowo will officially launch the simultaneous signing ceremony for 62,000 subsidized housing mortgages, which is being held at 165 locations across 372 regencies and cities in 36 provinces, with the main event taking place in Batang regency, Central Java province,” the Cabinet Secretary said.
