President Prabowo Subianto, Friday (7/10), paid for a work visit to West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province. The Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft carrying the President and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at 10:45 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said that during the visit, the President is scheduled to inaugurate the Meninting Dam in West Lombok regency. On the same occasion, he will also inaugurate four other dams located in various regions across Indonesia.

“President Prabowo departs for West Nusa Tenggara province for a work visit. According to the Cabinet Secretary, the inauguration of these five dams demonstrates the Government’s commitment to strengthening water resources infrastructure, which plays a strategic role in supporting food security, raw water supply, flood control, and clean energy development.

“These dams are expected to provide significant benefits to the community, particularly in increasing agricultural productivity, ensuring water availability, and strengthening the foundations of sustainable development,” Cabinet Secretary said.
