President Prabowo Subianto Receives Eight Ambassadors from Friendly Nations

President Prabowo Subianto received eight Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors (LBBP) from friendly nations on Monday (06/08) at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta. The ambassadors presented their credentials to President Prabowo.

The credentials ceremony began with the national anthems of each respective country being played upon the ambassadors’ arrival at the Merdeka Palace. The ambassadors then directly presented their credentials to the President.

The eight ambassadors were as follows:

  1. Sumadhurika Sashikala Premawardhane, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Designate Resident of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Republic of Indonesia;
  2. Christopher Baltazar Montero, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Resident Designate Resident of the Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of Indonesia;
  3. Yoon Soongu, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Designate Resident of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Indonesia;
  4. Petr Kopřiva, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Designate Resident of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Indonesia;
  5. Abdalfatah Ahmed Khalil Alsattari, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Designate Resident of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Indonesia;
  6. Dimitrios Michalopoulos, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Designate Resident of the Republic of Greece to the Republic of Indonesia;
  7. Salam Al Achkar, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Designate Resident of the Republic of Lebanon to the Republic of Indonesia; and
  8. Menissa Rambally, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Designate Non-Resident of Saint Lucia to the Republic of Indonesia.

After presenting their credentials, the ambassadors took a photo with  President Prabowo and were received by the President in the rear veranda room, then departed from the Merdeka Palace. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (EST/LW)
