President Subianto Meets with Indonesia’s 7th President in Surakarta City

President Prabowo Subianto Sunday (11/3) held a meeting with Indonesia’s 7th President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo in Surakarta city, Central Java province.

Upon his arrival at around 6:00 PM Western Indonesian Time, President Subianto went directly to Jokowi’s private residence located in Sumber subdistrict, Surakarta city.

The warm meeting between the two leaders took place at the home of the seventh President, with Ibu Iriana Jokowi also present to welcome President Subianto. After a casual conversation at the residence, President Subianto and Jokowi proceeded to a restaurant in the city to continue their discussion over dinner.

The dishes served reflected traditional flavors, including Javanese style noodle, fried rice, fried bananas, tempe mendoan (battered thinly sliced tempeh), and corn fritters. While savoring the simple yet tasty meal, the two were observed casually chatting, laughing, and sharing stories, which fostered a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The warm meeting lasted for about an hour. Afterwards, the former President accompanied President Subianto to Adi Soemarmo Air Force Base in Boyolali regency for his return to Jakarta.
