President Prabowo Receives Credentials from Eight Ambassadors of Friendly Countries at Merdeka Palace

President Prabowo Subianto officially received credentials from eight new Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary from friendly countries in a ceremony held at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday, (05/06).

The event began with the playing of the national anthems of the respective countries upon the ambassadors’ arrival at the palace. President Prabowo welcomed the ambassadors and expressed Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation across various sectors.

The ambassadors presenting their credentials were:

  1. Luis Guillermo Arellano Jibaja, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Ecuador to Indonesia.
  2. Enrique Antonio Acuña Mendoza, Ambassador-designate of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Indonesia.
  3. Roberto Colaminè, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Italy to Indonesia.
  4. Philip Nathan Taula, Ambassador-designate of New Zealand to Indonesia.
  5. Ramil Rzayev Abil Oglu, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Indonesia.
  6. Roderick Bruce Brazier, Ambassador-designate of the Commonwealth of Australia to Indonesia.
  7. Ivana Golubović-Duboka, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Serbia to Indonesia.
  8. Faysal Ahmed Salad, Ambassador-designate of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Indonesia.

The presentation of credentials marks the beginning of each ambassador’s official duties in Indonesia, signaling a continued commitment to strong and mutually beneficial diplomatic partnerships.
