President Prabowo Subianto, Wednesday (02/04), received the chair and members of the Central Executive Board of the National Awakening Party (Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa/PKB), at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (02/04).

In the meeting, the Central Executive Board of the PKB pledged to support the Government’s policies and the leadership of President Prabowo.

Chairperson of the PKB Muhaimin Iskandar said that the meeting was attended by all the members of the party’s Central Executive Board and chairpersons of the party’s Regional Executive Boards from all over the nation.

He added that the PKB has just concluded its National Political Academy which serves as an integrated part of its efforts to improve the quality of its members.

According to him, the PKB also proposed several strategic ideas and opinions to support the Government in implementing policies and programs that directly benefit the people.

“The PKB fully supports all policies and programs that will bring greatest direct benefits to the people. We are also ready to make the strategic programs and their follow-ups a success,” he added.

On that occasion, the party also expressed its appreciation and support to the leadership of President Prabowo at the international level, given the President’s deep understanding of global geopolitical dynamics.

“There is no one in this country who excels in international geopolitics better than President Prabowo. We believe he truly understands the complicated and complex geopolitical maps,” he added.

During that meeting, the PKB and President Prabowo shared similar view on the importance of promoting the implementation of constitutional economic system as mandated by Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution. He emphasized that this system aims to ensure fair access to capital, particularly for small economic groups and lower-income communities.

“It’s time for small businesses to get access to the capital. The capital should not only be accessible to a few groups of people. In fact, the lowest layers of society should have access to it,” he said.

On behalf of the PKB, Muhaimin expressed belief that President Prabowo is capable to lead the progress of Indonesia’s economic system toward a fair and just system, with the state’s presence safeguarding the economy for the common people.

“All of us in the PKB are confident that the President will succeed in implementing this constitutional economic system, especially in aspects of equitable distribution and economic justice. We are also satisfied under the President’s leadership,” he concluded. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RAS/TM)
