President Prabowo Attends Danantara’s First Anniversary to Emphasize its Strategic Role

President Prabowo Subianto attends Danantara’s First Anniversary at Wisma Danantara on Wednesday (03/11).

President Prabowo attended the first anniversary of Danantara Indonesia on Wednesday (03/11) at Wisma Danantara. It started with singing the national anthem, Indonesia Raya, demonstrating deep respect for the nation and country.

The anniversary was a momentum to reflects on Danantara’s journey to strengthen Indonesia’s economic foundation. In his remarks, the President expressed his gratitude for the establishment of Danantara.

“We feel fortunate for having Danantara as a sovereign wealth fund, which is probably the sixth or seventh biggest in the world,” he said.

He also expressed his appreciation for Danantara’s achievements to date, attributing them to its management and a strong political will to establish a credible and professional institution.

“This one-year management has proven its professionalism, goodwill, political will, and pure soul,” he said.

Meanwhile, Minister of Investment and Downstream, who also serves as CEO of Danantara Rosan Roeslani reported that Danantara brings a new strength to Indonesia—more actively participating in the global economy amid geopolitical and geoeconomic tensions.

“We prove that we have power. We prove that we are a big nation that has mutual strength, and we are also open to any collaboration to build this nation,” he said.

Moreover, Rosan expressed hope that Danantara can be one of the growth engines. “We see Danantara has more responsibilities to create 8% growth and equality. So, the economic growth can be enjoyed by all Indonesians,” he concluded. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RD/MMB)
