President Prabowo Subianto Thursday (11/20) summoned Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia to the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta. In a press statement following his meeting with the President, Bahlil reported on the achievements of non-tax state revenue in the energy and mineral resources sector, lifting realization, as well as plans for the inauguration of the Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) Project in East Kalimantan province.
“I am required to report on the targets in the State Budget. As December approaches and the year is almost complete, I can confirm that our non-tax state revenue has already reached 85 percent of the target set in the State Budget. As for lifting, alhamdulillah, it too has met the specified target,” said Bahlil.
Bahlil also provided updates on the planned inauguration plan of the RDMP project development in East Kalimantan, adding that project will deliver a significant advancement in national energy resilience.
“I also provided an update on the inauguration plan of RDMP in East Kalimantan. If the project is inaugurated, inshaallah by 2026 we anticipate achieving self-sufficiency in solar and aviation fuel energy. This is part of our forward-looking plan,” added Bahlil.
Bahlil also clarified that the summons was part of the standard reporting procedure to the President.
“I serve the President. As one of the President’s aides, whenever I was summoned, I must be prepared to report on anything related to my KPI (key performance indicator) or any other instructions passed from the President to the ministers,” concluded Bahlil.
