President Prabowo Makes Visit to PM Albanese at Hotel

After attending the opening of the 19th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of OIC Member States (PUIC) and Related Meetings at the Nusantara Building, Parliamentary Complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday (05/14) evening, President Prabowo Subianto made a visit to Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese at the hotel where he was staying in Jakarta. President Prabowo arrived at around 20.30 Western Indonesian Time and was warmly welcomed by PM Albanese who was waiting in the lobby. Their meeting took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.
After shaking hands, President Prabowo and PM Albanese continued to have a meeting in one of the hotel’s rooms. The meeting confirmed President Prabowo’s commitment to maintaining and strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and Australia.
Respectful attitude shown by the President to the state dignitary was a strong signal that Australia is Indonesia’s main partner in the region. Despite President Prabowo’s busy schedule, he dedicated his time to meet and have a discussion with PM Albanese.
For the record, PM Anthony Albanese arrived in Jakarta at around 18.30 Western Indonesian Time for an official visit and bilateral meetings. The visit is expected to strengthen the collaboration of both nations in various sectors.
