President Prabowo Subianto’s participation at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit highlighted Indonesia’s pivotal role in advancing global peace.
His presence also reaffirmed Indonesia’s dedication to landmark diplomatic achievement and demonstrated its commitment to tangible humanitarian action.
According to Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, President Prabowo has consistently shown support for the independence and peace in Palestine at various international forums.
This strong position, Teddy added, marked Indonesia’s commitment to upholding its foreign political principle, “free and active”, which sided with humanity and fairness.
“The first commitment is diplomacy. The President delivered speeches at major international forums. The second is through concrete actions, which he has shown since he was a Minister of Defense,” Teddy said.
The Cabinet Secretary also added that Indonesia’s presence in the forum marked the greater respect and acknowledgment of the country at the global level.
“This is a momentous occasion, a truly special day. Under President Prabowo’s leadership, Indonesia is not just a bystander, but an active participant and key agent of history in advancing peace in the Middle East, particularly for Palestine,” he added. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RD/EP)
