President Prabowo departs for a working visit to East Java province on Saturday (02/07).

President Prabowo Subianto departed for a working visit to East Java province on Saturday (02/07). The President and his limited entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at 17:30 Western Indonesian Time.

Upon arrival, President Prabowo is scheduled to hold several evening meetings. The following day, he will attend Mujahadah Kubro, a grand spiritual gathering for the Centenary of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), which is expected to draw 100,000 people.

The Mujahadah Kubro serves as a symbol of NU’s strength and a reflection of its role as a socio-religious force for the nation. In addition, the President’s presence on this occasion serves as a symbol of the state’s commitment to strengthening the synergy between the Government and ulemas in maintaining social stability and promoting the nation’s progress amid global challenges.

Accompanying the President during the flight were Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly Ahmad Muzani, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Head of the Government Communications Agency Angga Raka Prabowo, and Vice Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono.

Also seen during the sending off the President were the Commander of the Jaya Military Regional Command  Major General Deddy Suryadi, the Chief of Metro Jaya Regional Police Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri, and the Commander of Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base Air Vice Marshal Erwin Sugiandi.
