President Prabowo Subianto Friday (04/11) attended the opening ceremony of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) at the Nest Convention Center in the city of Antalya, Türkiye.

The forum was officially opened by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan followed by remarks from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as a host.

The ADF is regarded as an important multilateral dialogue forum marked by the participation of a number of Heads of State/Government, including PM Mohammed Mustafa of Palestine, PM Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani of Qatar, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia, and President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan.

The theme of the forum this year is “Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World” during which the global leaders discuss global issues and cooperations between countries.

The presence of President Prabowo at the ADF was to strengthen Indonesia’s position as an active country in global diplomacy, as well as to offer strategic opportunities to expand international collaborations in the fields of peace, food security, energy, and education.

The 2025 ADF is also a pivotal moment for Indonesia to maintain active, solution-oriented, and competitive diplomacy in a dynamic global order. (Bureau of Press and Media of Presidential Secretariat) (GA/EP)
