41 Civil Servants Discharged, 3 Demoted Due to Disciplinary Violations
As many as 41 civil servants have been discharged after committing disciplinary violations, Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms has announced.
In addition, two civil servants have had their job levels demoted for three years, one civil servant has had their job position demoted, and one civil servant has had his punishment cancelled after a review.
Andi Anto, an official from the Ministry, said that it processed 46 cases of disciplinary violations which included cases of absence without leave, drugs abuse, fraud, abuse of authority, second marriage without permission from officials, cohabitation, and female civil servants becoming second wives.
The type of disciplinary violation, he, is still dominated by violations of Article 3 Number 11 of Government Regulation Number 53 of 2010 on Civil Servants Discipline and Violations of Government Regulation Number 10 of 1983 in relation to Government Regulation Number 45 of 1990 on Permit for Marriage and Divorce for Civil Servants.
There are 46 cases that we have processed. The types of disciplinary sanctions for those cases imposed by the Personnel Development Officer (PPK) include Honorably Discharged Not on Employees Request (PDHTAPS) and Dishonorably Discharged (PTDH),” Andi said in Jakarta, Tuesday (3/7).
