Bekraf to Produce New Artists under Rich Brians Label

Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf) Triawan Munaf acknowledged Rich Brian as a successful Indonesian rapper for being able to top the iTunes Hip Hop Chart.
He releases a new album right now that encourages other young Indonesians to dare to go international with their own works, Triawan said after accompanying President Joko Jokowi Widodo in meeting with Rich Brian, at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, Sunday (7/7).
He went on to say that Brians achievements can inspire other young Indonesians to be independent in pursuing international career in the United States.
Triawan added that Bekraf in collaboration with 88rising, an New York-based record label behind Rich Brian, is working on a program called ICINC (Indonesia Creative Incorporated) that upholds the spirit of Indonesia Rising. Five new Indonesian vocalists selected from 500 applicants will be mentored by 88rising in Los Angeles.
