President Jokowi to Inspect Sorghum Factory, Distribute Social Assistance in E. Nusa Tenggara
On the third day of his East Nusa Tenggara Working Visit, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Thursday (06/02) took off from Haji Hasan Aroeboesman airport in Ende regency to Umbu Mehang Kunda airport in East Sumba regency.
In East Sumba regency, the President and his entourage were slated to inspect a sorghum processing factory, plant the grain, and monitor the harvest process.
After inspecting the factory, the Head of State was scheduled to visit Matawai Inpres Market in the regency to distribute social assistances including Working Capital Assistance (BMK) and Cooking Oil Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) for participants of the Family Hope Program (PKH) and vendors.
In the afternoon, President Jokowi and his entourage will return to Jakarta using an Rj-85 aircraft via Umbu Mehang Kunda airporat.
Accompanying the President Jokowi and the First Lady during East Sumba Working Visit were Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Governor of East Nusa Tenggara Viktor Laiskodat, IX/Udayana Military Commander Major General Sonny Aprianto, and the East Nusa Tenggara Police Chief Inspector General Setyo Budiyanto.
