First of all, I’d like to express my gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome from the community and Jembrana Regent during my first visit. I also praise the efforts made by the regent and the Governor of Bali in developing small-sized industries that produce tenun and songket.

The efforts will encourage creative industries, especially handicraft industry since the regional government has given a directive to officials/employees of the Government, private companies, and other institutions/organizations to wear Balinese traditional fabric every Tuesday. This will encourage local-based creative industries. I really appreciate it.

Earlier at the people’s market, I checked the main prices that affect inflation, among others oil and rice. The oil prices remain under control in the range of Rp14-15 thousand. It is normal. There is only an upward trend in the price prices. The increase also affected inflation in January, including rice. That is why I constantly check the prices because all the regencies, cities, provinces, and the Central Government must control national inflation together.
