Newly Inaugurated Tajum Margasana Bridge Expected to Bring Benefits to Local Communities

Three bridges in Central Java province including Tajum Margasana bridge in Banyumas regency, Tajum Karangbawang bridge in Banyumas regency, and Jurug B Surakarta-Karanganyar bridge in Surakarta city were officially inaugurated by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Tuesday (1/2).

Surrounding communities expressed their appreciation for the development of the bridges.

Liani, one of local residents living around Tajum Margasana bridge said that the newly inaugurated bridge has made travel more comfortable.

“Alhamdulillah, the bridge has made travel smoother, more pleasant,” she said.

Moreover, Dean, a young man from Margasana village, also expressed his appreciation for the development of the Tajum Margasana bridge. According to him, the new bridge has made their residential area better.

“It’s fantastic, Sir. The old bridge has seen better days. With this new bridge, Margasana village looks even better,” he added.

Furthermore, another resident, Lastri, expressed hope that the bridge will enhance the mobility of people and goods, especially for trade activities. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat)(AP/MMB)
