Arriving in Kuala Lumpur, President Jokowi Welcomed with Malaysia State Ceremony

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) together with First Lady Iriana and accompanied by the Ministers of Work Cabinet arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia, Thursday (5/2) at 16.00 local time using the presidential plane.

Arrival of President Jokowi and his entourage were welcomed directly with a state ceremony by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato Sri Mohammad Najib Tun Abdul Razak.

President Jokowi in this bilateral visit was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Sofyan Djalil, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno LP Marsudi, Minister of Trade Rahmat Gobel, Minister of Manpower Hanif Dakhiri, and Chief BNP2TJKI Nusron Wahid.

After following the state ceremony, at night, President Jokowi scheduled to follow a state banquet at the Presidential Palace of Malaysia.

Malaysia is the first country of the three ASEAN countries will have a bilateral visit by President Jokowi.

President Jokowi is scheduled to be in Malaysia until February 7. After that, President Jokowi and his entourage will continue the visit to Brunei Darussalam. (EN)
