Boccia Team Secures Three Medals for Indonesia at Paris 2024 Paralympics

Indonesia added three medals on the third day of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. All of these medals bagged by the athletes of boccia team.

Held at South Paris Arena, Paris, on Sunday (09/01), Gischa Zayana, who competed in the women’s BC2 Individual event, and Muhammad Syafa, who competed in the men’s BC1 Individual event, each managed to win bronze medals. Meanwhile, Muhammad Bintang Herlangga, who competed in the men’s BC2 Individual event, won a silver medal.

With these three medals, Indonesia has bagged four medals in total, consisting of two silver medals and two bronze medals. Indonesia is currently ranked 47th in the medal standings at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

Previously, Indonesia won a silver medal presented by para-athlete Saptoyogo Purnomo, who competed in the men’s 100 meters T37 classification. (UN) (AS/MMB)
