Cabinet Secretary Bids Farewell to 69 Retiring State Civil Apparatus

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung and Minister of State Secretary Pratikno Wednesday (25/08) held an online gathering with state civil apparatus working at Cabinet Secretariat and Ministry of State Secretary who will soon retire.

The gathering was held as a form of appreciation for state civil apparatus who will be retiring starting from 1 October 2020 and 1 September 2021.

During the gathering, Cabinet Secretary expressed appreciation for the dedication and contribution that the retiring state civil apparatus have made.

“Let me express my sincerest gratitude and appreciation to you who will be retiring. I personally think that for our good cooperation all this time, all of you have given contribution, dedication, and hard work for the nation and the state, especially for the President and Vice President,” he said, adding that the retiring employees have a chance to work with the people.

“Those of you who have completed your duties well have an opportunity to work with the people because the knowledge, the experience, and the extraordinary dedication during your time in Ministry of State Secretariat and Cabinet Secretariat will many benefits for the people,” he said.

Echoing a similar sentiment, Minister of State Secretary also expressed gratitude and appreciation for the retiring government employees’ contribution to the state.

“Thank you very much for your extraordinary dedication to the state, Ministry of State Secretariat, the President, and the Vice President in executing your duties. Let me also apologize for the mistakes I may have committed when we worked together,” he said, adding that the retiring employees should continue the relationship that has been made for tens of years.

“The most important thing for you is to stay healthy and happy in living your retirement days. There must be many things that can be done during retirement,” the Minister said, while expressing deep condolences to the family representative of 19 retiring government employees who have passed away.

“To the 19 retiring employees who have passed away, I hope they are given the best place by His side and their family are given forbearance and ease to continue their life,” he remarked.

Closing the event, the Minister gave a certificate of merit and assistance from the Welfare Foundation of Ministry of State Secretariat to the representative of the retiring state civil apparatus.

Based on the report of the Deputy Minister of State Secretary for Employee Administration Affairs Nanik Purwanti, there are 69 employees of Ministry of State Secretariat and Cabinet Secretariat who are entering retirement from 1 October 2020 and 1 September 2021.

Twenty-six people are from the State Secretary Ministerial Secretariat and Offices of Deputy Minister of State Secretary, 24 people are from Presidential Secretariat, seven people are from Vice Presidential secretariat, one person is from Presidential Military Secretariat, one person is from the Center of State Civil Apparatus Competency Development, two people are from Presidential Advisory Council Secretariat, and eight people are from Cabinet Secretariat.
