Cabinet Secretary Inaugurates High-Ranking Officials at Cabinet Secretariat

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung inaugurates and swears in three Middle High-Ranking Officials and one Principal Expert Functional Official of the Cabinet Secretariat in the Multipurpose Hall, Building III, the Ministry of State Secretariat, Jakarta, Tuesday (07/09).

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung Tuesday (07/09) inaugurated and swore in three Middle High-Ranking Officials and one Principal Expert Functional Official of the Cabinet Secretariat in the Multipurpose Hall, Building III, Ministry of State Secretariat, Jakarta.

“In the name of Allah, I solemnly swear that I will be faithful and obedient to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all regulations as strictly as possible for my service to the nation and the country; that in performing my office duties I will uphold office ethics and perform to the best of my ability and with full responsibility; that I will maintain my integrity, never abuse my power, and avert myself from despicable actions,” said Cabinet Secretary when dictating the oath and promise to the inaugurated officials.

The three Middle High-Ranking Officials inaugurated were Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Cabinet Work Support, Kardwiyana Ukar; Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Administrative Affairs, Thanon Aria Dewangga; and Expert Staffer for Communication, Henny Navilah. Meanwhile, the Principal Expert Functional Official inaugurated was the Principal Expert Archivist at the Center for Data and Information Technology, Farid Utomo. This inauguration was conducted as the follow-up of Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 79/TPA, Presidential Decree Number 80/TPA, and Presidential Decree Number 44/M of 2024 which were signed by the President on July 8, 2024.

In his remarks, the Cabinet Secretary expressed hopes for the new Deputy for Cabinet Work Support and at the same time expressed belief that he will be able to perform his duties as the Deputy.

“Hopefully he will bring special colors to our Cabinet Work Support and provide the best service to the President and the Vice President. We hope he will never let his service and contribution to the work of this Cabinet decline,” said Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.

Cabinet Secretary also reminded the newly inaugurated Deputy for Administrative Affairs that his duties as the Deputy are not easy because of his great responsibility.

“Being Deputy for Administrative Affairs is not easy because many people put their hopes in him since his job concerns internal affairs as well as their welfare, position, status, facilities. The task now falls to Mr. Thanon and I hope he can carry it out as best he can,” said the Cabinet Secretary.

Furthermore, Cabinet Secretary also expressed special thanks to Farid Utomo for his extraordinary dedication for more than nine years as the Deputy for Administrative Affairs for his service to the nation and the country, and for providing government management support for the President and the Vice President.

“In particular, I would like to thank Pak Tomi who has been inaugurated today as Principal Expert Functional Official,” said Cabinet Secretary.

On that occasion, Cabinet Secretary also underscored the importance of building a good system, improving oneself, learning and self-criticism as preparation for facing the government transition era, emphasizing that this institution must continue to provide the best service for the newly elected President and Vice President.

“Most importantly, this institution must continue to build a good system. We must improve ourselves, build a good system, keep learning, build self-criticism, and prepare for anything, and then we can give our best to the nation, to the country, to the Government, to the President-elect, to the Vice President-elect,” said Cabinet Secretary.

Concluding his remarks, Pramono expressed hope that the Cabinet Secretariat will continue to make the best contribution to the nation and the country. (FID/ABD) (TM/EP)
