Cabinet Secretary Tells Officials to Spend Budget Properly
Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung has asked all budget users at Cabinet Secretariat to spend the budget properly, in accordance with the provisions of law and regulations.
The statement was made by Cabinet Secretary in his remarks during the handing over ceremony of the 2020 Budget Implementation List (DIPA) and the 2020 Operational Activity Guidelines (POK), in Jakarta, Wednesday (8/1).
Pramono also delivered a special message to Special Staffs to the President who also received DIPA. He said that the budget must be used in accordance with prudential principles and provisions of law and regulations.
“We hope that you will not get any problems in the future, so (the budget) must be used as best as possible,” Pramono said.
On that occasion, the Cabinet Secretary also asked Deputy to Cabinet Secretary for Administrative Affairs Farid Utomo to submit a budget revision to Minister of Finance. Budget revision is needed because the existing budget is deemed insufficient to serve the President’s cabinet management.
The budget revision, he added, is also necessary due to the addition of seven Special Staffs to the President and two Special Staffs to the Vice President.
Also present during the event were, among others, Deputy of Cabinet Secretary Ratih Nurdiati, Deputy to Cabinet Secretary for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Fadlansyah Lubis, Deputy to Cabinet Secretary for Economic Affairs Satya Bhakti Parikesit, Deputy to Cabinet Secretary for Maritime Affairs Agustina Murbaningsih, Deputy to Cabinet Secretary for Cabinet Work Support Thanon Aria Dewangga, Deputy to Cabinet Secretary for Administrative Affairs Farid Utomo, Special Staffs to the President, Special Staffs to the Vice President, and Special Staffs to the Cabinet Secretary.
