East Java Expected to Contribute to National Economy

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo is optimistic that investment and infrastructure development in East Java province can make a significant contribution to national economic growth.

“I believe that infrastructure and working culture in East Java province are very supportive for the development of investment,” President Jokowi said during a Limited Cabinet Meeting on Development Acceleration in East Java, at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, Tuesday (9/7).

Therefore, President Jokowi has instructed Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa to remain focus on economy and infrastructure issues.

“We should focus to achieve the targets as soon as possible, so it will bring concrete results for East Java as well as national economy,” the President said. (GUN/AGG/ES)
