Gov’t, Telemedicine Platforms Provide Free Services for COVID-19 Self-Isolation Patients

Ministry of Health has joined hands with telemedicine platforms to provide free telemedicine services for asymptomatic and mild COVID-19 patients.
“We are collaborating with 11 telemedicine platforms to provide free telemedicine services and medicine delivery services,” Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin said on Monday (05/07).
The Minister added that at the initial stage the services will only apply to Jakarta area.
The eleven telemedicine platforms are:
- Alodokter
- GetWell
- Good Doctor and GrabHealth
- Halodoc
- KlikDokter
- KlinikGo
- Link Sehat
- Milvik Dokter
- ProSehat
- SehatQ
- YesDok
Doctors can identify patients based on the results of the consultation and provide further treatment based on the patient’s condition. Through this service, hospitals can conduct initial screening for patients with moderate/severe symptoms, and providing medicine through pharmaceutical service facilities appointed by Ministry of Health.
The medicine will be delivered free of charge to asymptomatic patients and patients with mild symptoms. The telemedicine platforms are also integrated with PCR testing laboratories.
“I would like to extend my appreciation to the telemedicine platforms, namely Alodokter, GetWell, Good Doctor and GrabHealth, Halodoc, KlikDokter, KlinikGo, Link Sehat, Milvik Dokter, ProSehat, SehatQ, and YesDok. All platforms will provide free telemedicine services and Ministry of Health will provide free medicine delivery services,” the Minister said. (PR Ministry of Health/UN) (RI/LW)
