President Jokowi Begins Bali Working Visit
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, accompanied by First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi, Friday (08/10) left for Bali province for a working visit in the province.
The President and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta at around 07.45 Western Indonesian Time onboard the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.
Upon arrival at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Badung regency, the President is scheduled to directly head to Ngurah Rai Forest Park to inspect mangrove planting activities.
Afterward, the President is scheduled to deliver directives at the Bali Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) at Wisma Sabha Utama Building in Bali Governor’s Office Complex.
The President is also slated to inspect several venues that will be used to host the G20 Summit next year.
Also joining the President during the visit were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno and Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi. (BPMI/UN) (FI/EP)
