President Jokowi Departs for West Nusa Tenggara to Inaugurate Copper Smelter and Precious Metal Refinery

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Monday, September 23, 2024 headed to West Nusa Tenggara province (NTB) for a working visit. The Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft carrying out the Head of State and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 07.30 Western Indonesian Time.

Upon arrival at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport, Central Lombok regency, the Head of State will be transferred to the Super Puma Helicopter owned by the Indonesian Air Force. The President will continue his journey to PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk., West Sumbawa regency.

“President Jokowi will conduct an inspection and inaugurate the copper smelter and precious metal refinery of PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk.,” Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana said in his written statement.

After the inauguration, President Jokowi will head back to Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport, Central Lombok Regency, to continue his working visit to East Java Province. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/DNS) (ZI/AW)
