President Jokowi Distributes Food Assistance in Gianyar

The Government is committed to providing food assistance from the Government’s rice reserves until December this year, according to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.

“Also, in January, February, and March next year, you will get 10 kg of rice each month,” President Jokowi said after distributing food assistance to beneficiary families at Batubulan Cultural Hall, Gianyar regency, Bali province, Tuesday (10/31).

The Government, he added, will also provide cash assistance of Rp200,000 in the last two months of this year for the Family Hope Program (PKH) beneficiaries.

“In November and December, the Government will transfer Rp200,000 in two phases. That means you will receive Rp400,000 until the end of this year,” he said.

On that occasion, President Jokowi also gave bicycles to two residents who were able to answer questions asked by the President. (BPMI Presidential Secretariat/DNS) (GWH/EP)
