President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Monday (09/11) handed over rice assistance to beneficiaries at the State Logistics Agency (Bulog) warehouse located in East Sunter II Warehousing Complex, Kelapa Gading, Jakarta.

The President told the beneficiaries that the rice assistance will be provided to the community for three months starting from September to November.

“So, this will be given for three months. Later, God willing, we can pray together, next January again,” the President said.

Meanwhile, several beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the rice assistance provided by the Government.

“Thank God, we feel blessed, feel grateful because we receive basic food for our daily meals,” said Mrs. Muayati, one of the beneficiaries.

In addition to handing over the assistance, on that occasion, the President also inspected the availability of government rice reserves (CBP) guided by President Director of Perum Bulog Budi Waseso. (TGH/UN) (FI/MMB)
