President Jokowi Inaugurates National Paskibraka Team Members for 2024 in Nusantara Capital

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (08/13) at the Garuda Palace, East Kalimantan province, inaugurated seventy-six members of the national flag-hoisting team (Paskibraka) representing the country’s 38 provinces for their role in the 79th Anniversary of Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia to be held at the State Palace, the new Capital of Nusantara (IKN).
“By the grace of Allah God Almighty, I hereby inaugurate the 2024 national flag-hoisting team who will serve at the State Palace, Nusantara Capital on August 17, 2024. May God the Almighty grant you grace and ease in performing this duty for the nation,” the President said during the inauguration ceremony.
On that occasion, the President symbolically pinned a badge to the ceremony leader as a sign of the Paskibraka team’s inauguration.
Prior to their inauguration, the members of the Paskibraka team took a pledge led by Head of the Agency for Fostering Pancasila State Ideology (BPIP) Yudian Wahyudi.
During the pledge ceremony, Violetha Agryka Sianturi, a representative from North Sumatra and the ceremony leader, held the Red and White Flag against her left chest.
Concluding the inauguration, President Jokowi along with Ministers of the Indonesia Onward Cabinet congratulated the Paskibraka team members and engaged in conversation with the team. (KS/DNS) (RIF/MUR)
