President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Sunday (10/22) inaugurated Brawijaya Army Hospital and dr. Soekantyo Jahja Naval Hospital located in Surabaya city and Sidoarjo regency, East Java province.

Alhamdulillah, today we inaugurate two Indonesian National Defense Forces’ (TNI) hospitals—namely Brawijaya Hospital and dr. Soekantyo Jahja Hospital—and are ready to operate,” President Jokowi said.

According to the President, Brawijaya Hospital now has increased its bed capacity and modernize the health equipment so it can provide better health services.

“Additional health facilities are needed to improve health services and provide broader access to healthcare for TNI soldiers and general public,” President Jokowi added.

Therefore, the newly-inaugurated hospital is expected to provide the best healthcare to the soldiers and all elements of society.

“With swift, safe, and comfortable services,” he remarked. (BPMI Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (GWH/MMB)
