President Jokowi Inspects Health Care Service at dr. Sobirin General Hospital

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo paid a visit to dr. Sobirin General Hospital, Musi Rawas regency, South Sumatra province, Thursday (05/30). The visit was part of the President’s agenda to ensure an effective health care and adequate infrastructure in Indonesia.

During the visit, President Jokowi met and interacted with some patients and visitors of the hospital. It gave them the chances to tell their experiences directly to the President.

Sinta, a local resident of Lubuklinggau City, thought that the hospital has provided good services while she was having health treatments. She also said that the hospital crew were friendly, the waiting room was convenient, and the doctor was competent.

“The service does not take too much time, so the people prefer to have health care service at dr. Sobirin hospital,” Sinta said, adding that she was also proud to meet the President.

Another patient, Nursia, from Musi Rawas regency, who was having a treatment in the hospital said that she was satisfied with the services. “ID card can be used to get a health care, all services are free,” she said, adding that she was happy to meet the President at the hospital.

President Jokowi’s visit to dr. Sobirin hospital was not only important to the local people, but it has also affirmed the Government’s commitment to improve the health care quality in Indonesia. (Bureau of Press, Media, and Information of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (AW/LW)
