President Jokowi Kicks off Bangka Belitung Working Visit
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Thursday (10/20) kicked off working visit in Bangka Belitung Islands province.
Aboard the Presidential Aircraft, the President and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, at around 07.15 Western Indonesia Time.
Upon arrival at Depati Amir Airport in Central Bangka regency, the President is scheduled to visit West Bangka regency on the Indonesian National Air Force’s Super Puma helicopter Batang to inspect the development of Top Submerged Lance (TSL) Ausmelt of state-owned PT Timah Tbk.
Afterwards, the President is slated to visit Muntok Market in West Bangka regency to distribute capital assistance and cash transfer assistance to beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program (PKH) and sellers.
The Head of State is also scheduled to visit Tanjung Laut Fishermen Village to observe waste management facility and to have a dialogue with the fishermen.
Later in the afternoon, the President is slated to visit Toboali Market in South Bangka regency, to distribute social assistance and inspect Sadai Seaport in South Bangka regency before returning to Jakarta. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (RAS/EP)
