After attending a mass prayer (Istigasah), President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Friday (03/17) had a meeting with religious and traditional leaders in Tabalong regency, South Kalimantan province.

“I extend my appreciation for the support from Tabalong regency, South Kalimantan province to work hand in hand with the Central Government, provincial governments, regional governments and religious leaders in order to overcome our problems,” the President said.

The President added that Indonesia is a big country consisting of 17,000 islands with a vast geographic area so that it is not easy to manage.

“It’s not easy, but I believe that, God willing, if today’s leaders and future leaders are supported by prayer from religious leaders and support from communities, this country will become a great country in terms of economy and in other aspects,” the President remarked.
