President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Friday (12/23) paid a visit to the 6th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Try Sutrisno who was undergoing medical treatment at Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD), Jakarta.
Arriving at the hospital at around 14.40 Western Indonesia Time, President Jokowi was greeted by Head of Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Lt. Gen. TNI dr. Albertus Budi Sulistya. The President then walked to the room where Try was being treated at the Kartika Pavilion.
“I visited Mr. Try Sutrisno and thank God he is in a good condition,” the President stated after the visit.
The President said that he also had a conversation with Try Sutrisno.
“I had a long conversation with Pak Try and he talked many things about the nation,” he added.
Based on the statement from Head of the RSPAD, the President added, Try Sutrisno was in a better condition and has been allowed to walk. The President expressed hope that Try Sutrisno will have a speedy recovery and always be healthy.
“We pray that Mr. Try will have a speedy recovery and will be able to meet his family soon, and always be healthy,” he remarked. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT/UN) (RI/HD)
