President Jokowi Reinaugurates Djoko Setiadi as Lemsaneg Head

The inauguration of the Head of the National Encryption Agency, on Friday (8/1) morning, at the State Palace, Jakarta

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo inaugurated Head of the National Encryption Agency (Lemsaneg) Maj. Gen. (Purn) DR. Djoko Setiadi, M.Si. at the State Palace, on Friday (8/1).

Djoko Setiadi was inaugurated under the Presidential Decree Number 30/TPA of 2015 on the Appointment of a High Official as Leader of Lemsaneg.

The Presidential Decree took effect on 21 December 2015.

Djoko Setiadi served as Head of the Lemsaneg since he was active at the army back in 2011. Today, Djoko Setiadi is re-inaugurated as a civil servant because he has already retired from the army.

For the record, Lemsaneg is a non-ministerial government institution which carry out the task in the field of encryption and is responsible to maintain the security of government/state’s information.

Attending the event were the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarno Putri, Vice President Jusuf Kalla, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Agus Hermanto, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Indonesian National Defence Forces (TNI) Commander Gen. Gatot Nurmantyo, Presidential Chief of Staffs Teten Masduki, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) Chief Gen, Badrodin Haiti, and several Working Cabinet Ministers.(DND/ES) (RAS/EP/YM/Naster)
