President Jokowi to Attend National Family Day in Medan

During his working visit in North Sumatera provincial capital of Medan, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo is slated to attend the commemoration of the 29th National Family Day.
In the morning, the President will visit the city’s Petisah Market to distribute social assistance for the beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program (PKH) and traders.
After that, the President will visit the Palm Oil Research Center (PPKS) in Kampung Baru, followed by a visit to Central Market to hand over social assistance. The President will also inspect the renovation of a traditional house in Belawan District in the city.
In the afternoon, the Head of State is scheduled to visit the Soewondo Air Force Base before taking off to Jakarta onboard the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft. (BPMI/UN) (EST/EP)
